Classic Gluten Free Buttercream Frosting

Description

Make sure you use gluten-free powdered sugar or icing sugar to ensure this recipe is a gluten-free buttercream frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 1/2 cups powdered sugar GF
  • 4 tbsp. milk (or non-dairy substitute)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

Add 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 cup butter, 2 cups powdered sugar GF, 1 tbsp. milk (or non-dairy substitute)and 1 tsp. vanilla extract in a large bowl and mix for 30 seconds or till ingredients come together.

Add 1 cup powdered sugar GF, 1 tbsp. milk (or non-dairy substitute) and mix for 30 seconds or till the ingredients are fully blended.

Repeat the last step 2 more times, but using 1 1/2 cups of sugar on the last time.
